Term Dates for 2024

Term 1:  31st January to 28th March

   (Please note that Preps begin on 1st February 2024)

Term 2:  15th April to 28th June

​

Term 3:  15th July to 20th September

​

Term 4:  7th October to 20th December

​

Each year government schools are provided with student-free days for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development and student assessment and reporting purposes. The first two days of Term 1 are student-free days to allow for appropriate planning to take place for the arrival of students. The remaining student-free days are determined by each individual school.

Curriculum Days at Sunshine Heights Primary School in 2024​ - To be announced.

On a Curriculum Day students do not attend school on these days.  The Out of Hours School Care program will be operating on these days.  Please contact ‘Big Child Care’ for more information.

Each school day brings a sense of wonder and excitement. The learning can change throughout the day and term but generally we run to a timetable.

8:45 am           Arrive at School

9:00 am           Learning Block 1 Begins

​

11:00 am        Recess Play Time

​

11:30 am        Learning Block 2 Begins

​

1:30 pm          Eating Time

​

1:40 pm          Lunch Play Time

​

2:15 pm          Learning Block 3 Begins

​

3:15 pm          School Dismissal
